Areas of special interest

Councilmember Agabi is focused on expanding affordable housing options in Tumwater, working with regional partners to increase affordable housing availability, and reducing homelessness in Thurston County. Creating a safer, more inclusive community for children to grow up in. Protecting the environment and preserving our clean air, clean water, and green spaces in Tumwater. Supporting local businesses and economic development opportunities in Tumwater. 

Why Tumwater City Council?

My goal is to work to prioritize and support policies and programs that could help our community support diversity. I work to make sure that rights of minorities are inclusive of the city policies. I outreach to disenfranchised communities to ensure their voices are heard and that internships and apprenticeships opportunities for disadvantaged populations within the city policies are robust.
