Leatta Dahlhoff serves as the Mayor of Tumwater, bringing years of public service, environmental leadership, and community-centered problem-solving to her role. She previously served as Mayor Pro Tem and as a member of the Tumwater City Council (Position No. 1), appointed in 2018 and elected in 2020, 2024, and 2025.
Current Employment
Leatta works at the Washington State Department of Commerce as a Lead SEEP Analyst, where she leads initiatives supporting statewide energy efficiency, sustainability, and environmental performance. Her role reflects her commitment to innovative, practical solutions that improve quality of life for Washington residents.
Career Background
Before joining the Department of Commerce, Leatta served as an Environmental Technical Analyst at the Department of Enterprise Services and previously spent 19 years at the Department of Ecology. Across more than two decades of state service, her work has reduced pollution and decreased the use of toxic and hazardous substances throughout Washington.
