Tumwater Equity Commission

The Equity Commission is established by the authority of TMC Chapter 2.60. The Commission advises the City Council on identifying issues of inequity through policy improvement, inclusive activities, and educational partnerships. 

Terms & Residency

This Commission consists of seven commissioners, serving three-year terms, who are appointed by the Mayor with confirmation by the City Council. Commissioners must reside within the City limits with the exception of one member, who may reside in the Tumwater UGA, as defined in Ordinance No. O2025-017.
