The City of Tumwater has two Bulk Water Fill Stations that provide easy automated access for customers to fill without needing hydrant meters.

LOCATIONS

Tumwater Bulk Water Station: 145 78th Ave. SW, Tumwater, WA 98501

Located on 78th Avenue SW between Terminal Street SW and New Market Street SW, on the west side of Olympia Regional Airport, adjacent to the Capital Little League Fields.

Mottman Fill Station: 2501 Crites St. SW, Tumwater, WA 98512

Located at the corner of Mottman Road and Crites Street in the Mottman Industrial Park.

FYI

• The stations are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
• No dumping at water stations.
• The stations will automatically turn off when the specified water volume is reached, or if the operator pushes stop when the truck is full.
• The stations are equipped with a dedicated meter and backflow assembly to protect the city’s water distribution system from contamination. 
• Customers receive a monthly statement. An electronic data logging system allows customers to fill multiple trucks with charges billed directly to their account.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Connect hose to standpipe using standard 2 ½” female fire hose connector.
• Open access door on the south side of the cabinet.
• Follow instructions on keypad display.
• Enter three-digit access code and press ENTER.
• Enter four-digit pin number and press ENTER.
• Enter truck volume (gallons) and press ENTER.
• Confirm hose is connected.
• Press START to begin.
• Press STOP when truck is full.
