Old Highway 99 Corridor Study

Last fall, the City of Tumwater asked you to share your ideas on the Old Highway 99 corridor and you responded! We used your input to develop a vision for the corridor. Attend our virtual open house for a look at the new Old Highway 99.

The study examines multimodal safety and mobility issues and incorporates land use, environmental, and transportation considerations as necessary to determine preferred alignment, cross sections, intersection control, stormwater strategies, mitigation strategies, right-of-way needs, implementation strategies, and future project estimates.

The next step will be to take this Planning Study and prioritize projects and sections along the corridor. With these projects defined, the City will be able to seek funding for design and construction.
