Plugged Storm Drain
Plugged or clogged storm drains can cause flooding
The storm drain system works to quickly and efficiently carry stormwater off of hard surfaces like roads and parking lots and into nearby creeks and streams. If a storm drain is blocked or clogged in anyway, it can't function properly. This can lead to streets and parking lots flooding since the water has no way its path to the stream is blocked.
Storm drains can get clogged in any season!
