Facebook has been a successful tool in solving and preventing crime in Tumwater. Police enlist the community to identify unknown suspects from surveillance videos and photos. Citizens actively help crack cases, and they do so enthusiastically. It also sends a message that the community does not take a passive approach to public safety. From the very first post, Facebook has helped police track down criminals and collect evidence so cases can be prosecuted successfully. Find terms of use, comment policy and more at Social Media Policies.
