The Tumwater Police Department Traffic Unit consists of two metro officers assigned to focus on traffic-related enforcement, daytime collision investigations, and major injury/fatality collision investigations. Our assigned traffic officers also focus on enforcing traffic laws in school zones, construction zones, DUI enforcement, and reported traffic problem-related areas.
