Monday, January 13, 6 - 8 p.m. Tumwater Middle School Cafeteria

At this community workshop, we'll cover public feedback from the previous open house as well as results from the recent community survey. Our consultants will present a preliminary building program and project budget, and review a few of the preferred community center sites. Opportunity to provide public comment and ask questions will be provided.

Community Center Survey 

The community center survey is now closed. We appreciate everyone who completed and survey! Results will be used to inform future project decisions. Please add your email address to our mailing list for future updates. 

We are excited to announce that we are conducting a needs assessment and feasibility study for our new community center. Your voice is essential to this process, and we truly appreciate your participation and feedback. To ensure we gather input from our wonderful community, the Project Team has created this online survey which will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Thank you for being a vital part of shaping the future of our community!

Please note that in 2018, voters approved funding for a Community Center meeting and event space, senior services, indoor sports courts, and land for a future public swimming pool. Please take the survey online by December 31!

Come out and help us decide what will be in YOUR community center! Attend our first open house to kick off the design project. Learn about your community through demographics. See a slide presentation of recreation centers across the U.S. and get a better idea of national trends in recreation center design. You’ll even get a chance to play a card game to help choose potential features and amenities in the future community center! Light refreshments will be served.
