Food Vending with Tumwater Parks & Recreation

Thank you for your interest in becoming a food vendor with Tumwater Parks & Recreation. Our goal is to support local food vendors in Tumwater while delivering top-notch events in our community. 

2026 Vending Opportunities

  • Dog Days (June 13, 2026)
  • Tumwater Independence Day Parade (July 4, 2026)
  • Tumwater Family Festival (July 4, 2026)
  • Tumwater Artesian Brewfest (August 15, 2026)
  • Screen on the Green (July 17, July 24, July 31, and/or August 7, 2026)
  • Falls Fest (September 26, 2026)
  • Christmas Tree Lighting Festival (December 5, 2026)

Food Vendor Guidelines

  • Vendor applications are accepted online only, via our EventHub food vendor site. Submittal of application does not guarantee participation. Staff will review submitted applications and respond via email regarding approval or denial.
  • Priority will be given to vendors who have participated in a Tumwater event in the previous year.
  • 2026 Fee: $400 flat fee per truck for July 4th and Brewfest only. $200 flat fee per event for all other events. 
  • Only food-related vendors will be considered.
  • All vendors must be self-sufficient; power will not be provided.
  • Vendors are required to obtain a temporary food establishment permit.
  • Food vendors must provide a certificate of insurance naming the City of Tumwater as additionally insured.
  • Any vendor who is found to be out of compliance with these permits/regulations on the day of the event will not be allowed to vend and will forfeit all fees paid.
