Tumtastic summer day camp

Join us for another exciting year of summer camp as we explore a variety of weekly themes, create awesome crafts, engage in group games, and go on adventurous field trips! Get ready to experience a whole lot of fun! 

Online registration opens Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 9 a.m.

New payment process: At the time of registration, you will be required to pay a $25 non-refundable deposit for each week registered. You will no longer be required to pay in full for the first week your child will attend. Instead, your deposits will hold your camper’s spot in your requested weeks. The remaining balance for each week will be due on Monday two weeks prior to each reserved week.

Cost for the program is $195 per week unless otherwise noted.

Counselor-in-training

Tumwater Parks and Recreation’s Counselor-in-training (CIT) program provides practical experience and hands-on learning for up and coming leaders. Youth ages 13-17 interested in the CIT Program must complete the required application. CITs will assist our Staff in providing a caring atmosphere and exciting experience for all Summer Day Camp participants. A great opportunity for possible employment with the City in the future. 

Cost for the CIT program is $100 per week. Please contact staff to request an application packet or for more information. Applications will be available beginning mid-March. No applications will be accepted after May 19.
