Crime Stoppers of South Sound Board

The Crime Stoppers of South Sound is a regional program that encourages the general public to be aware of crimes being committed and encourages them to report the information pertaining to a crime by assuring anonymity. Crime Stoppers also assists law enforcement agencies by raising funds for the purpose of posting cash rewards for information leading to the arrest or indictment of individuals who have committed crimes within their county. It is coordinated with designated representatives of all concerned law enforcement agencies within Thurston County.  

Terms & Residency

One Tumwater resident serves on this 11-member regional board as a citizen representative. The citizen representative is appointed by the Mayor to serve a three-year term.
