Tom is committed to a healthy environment including preservation of our natural resources and fighting climate change; valuing and respecting diversity in our community; economic vitality including job growth, business recruitment and retention; maintenance and improvement of our roads, bridges and other public infrastructure; a strong social safety net for seniors, children, the poor, the disabled and the homeless; affordable housing; an equitable and sustainable City budget; quality public safety services (police and fire); preservation of the historic Old Brewhouse; private redevelopment of the Olympia Brewery complex; and working together with other municipalities for economic efficiency and a high regional quality of life.

Profile

Tom has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and has lived in Tumwater since 1996. He has worked in the natural resources field of state government for more than 25 years and values our area’s extraordinary beauty and quality of life. He is active in the community, having served on the board of directors for numerous social service, environmental, historic preservation, and homeowner organizations.
