To Set Up a New Utility Account

Complete and return the Request for New Service PDF file form via email or to Tumwater City Hall. Landlords may use the Request for New Service form to establish duplicate billing for tenants. Up to a $15 fee will be charged, to appear on your first monthly bill, when setting up a new account after ownership of the service location has changed.  

Note for New Property Owners

Please be aware that utility bills are tied to the real property served. Unpaid balances from the previous owner of the property will be transferred to the currently active utility account after the City has made every effort to collect the unpaid balance. Please contact your closing agent if you become aware of an unpaid balance to see if closing funds are available to clear the closed account.
