Cable television subscribers in Thurston County who tune to Channel 26 will find information on City of Tumwater events and government processes. 

The Tumwater TV channel is provided for the exclusive use of the City through a franchise agreement with Comcast Inc. The channel is operated by Thurston Community Media (formerly Thurston Community Television or TCTV) under a contract with the City of Tumwater. A portion of the franchise fees collected by the City are used to operate the channel and to support the programming provided by Thurston Community Media. The channel includes programming provided by the Tumwater School District.  Thurston Community Media also partners with other local governments in Thurston County to provide public, educational, and governmental programming on channels 3 and 29.
