Parks wraps up holiday celebrations
The holiday season is always a flurry of activity for Parks & Recreation staff, with all hands on deck for holiday events. Read the wrap up, along with news about facilities and golf course flooding, in the Parks & Recreation Monthly Newsletter.
Carbon monoxide safety tips
Did you know that your carbon monoxide detector should be placed close to the ground? Carbon monoxide is heavy and the gases sink closer to the floor. Learn about carbon monoxide and more in the Fire Department Monthly Newsletter.
Scam awareness
Tumwater Police are experiencing a significant increase in scams. The "you have a warrant" scam involves a scammer calling or texting pretending to be a police officer or sheriff's deputy asking for money for warrants. They often imitate law enforcement numbers, text or email, to confuse their targets. Read more public safety news in the Police Department Monthly Newsletter.
