Development Review Committee
Development Review Committee (DRC)
The Development Review Committee (DRC) conducts site plan reviews to assist private and public development to comply with zoning, building, environmental, and utility engineering requirements in accordance with local regulations. The committee consists of staff from Public Works, Community Development and other City departments (as necessary) to assist applicants in moving through phases of development and permitting projects within the City of Tumwater.
The DRC performs analyses of development proposals in a series of three phases to help applicants with preparation of development submittals.

Meetings are scheduled on Thursdays, as needed throughout the year. Typically, applications for Development Review must be submitted no later than Wednesday at noon in order to be scheduled for the following week's Development Review meetings.
