Construction on the intersection of 2nd and Linwood Avenues is progressing rapidly. Asphalt and paving is complete and paint-striping will begin the week of July 27. Crews anticipate opening the intersection sooner than the originally anticipated date of mid-August. 

Following the opening of the intersection, crews will begin paving 2nd Avenue between B Street and 3rd Avenue. An approximately half-mile stretch of 2nd Avenue will be closed between B Street and 3rd Avenue through September.
