Lane restrictions – Expect delays, use alternate routes

Beginning January 12, traffic lane restrictions will impact travel on Sapp Rd. SW while a private contractor completes necessary work on underground gas lines.

Work will take place 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. weekdays from January 12 through end of May, 2026. The work zone will span Sapp Rd. SW, from RW Johnson Blvd./Bush Mountain Dr. to Antsen St.

While work is underway, lane shifts will reduce Sapp Rd. to a single lane of alternating traffic. At the end of each workday, Sapp Rd. will be restored for two-lane traffic. Access to private driveways will be maintained throughout. Traffic control and flaggers will be in place to assist motorists through the work zone.

Motorists are advised to plan for delays or use alternate routes when possible.
