Cable television subscribers who tune to Channel 26 will find interactive information on City events and government processes.

By calling a telephone number on the screen, viewers can select information from an on-screen menu. Within a few seconds, the requested information will appear.

Road Construction/Traffic Advisory
Utility Billing Information
Job Openings
Parks and Recreation Classes
Tumwater Parks and Municipal Golf Course

Tumwater has a franchise agreement with Comcast Inc. that requires a channel for the exclusive use of the City. The channel is operated by Thurston Community Television (TCTV) under a contract with the City of Tumwater. A portion of the franchise fees collected by the City are used to operate the channel and to support the programming provided by TCTV. The channel includes programming provided by the Tumwater School District. TCTV also partners with other local governments in the Thurston county to provide public, educational and governmental programming on channels 3 and 29.
