What is Tumwater TV?

Cable television subscribers in Thurston County who tune to Channel 26 will find information on City of Tumwater events and government processes.

In addition, messages from the City of Tumwater and Tumwater School District air on the channel when programming is not scheduled.

The Tumwater TV channel is provided for the exclusive use of the City through a franchise agreement with Comcast Inc. The channel is operated by Thurston Community Television (TCTV) under a contract with the City of Tumwater. A portion of the franchise fees collected by the City are used to operate the channel and to support the programming provided by TCTV. The channel includes programming provided by the Tumwater School District.  TCTV also partners with other local governments in Thurston County to provide public, educational and governmental programming on channels 3 and 29.

Tumwater City Council Meetings

Live Meetings:

  • The 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
  • The 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

Council meetings are replayed

  • On Thursdays following the Council meetings at 7:00 p.m.
  • On Tuesdays and Thursdays of the following week at 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
