This class is a hands-on experience. You will learn pruning basics to help you maintain the majority of plants in your landscape. Pruning tools will be discussed as well as how to prune roses, heather, lavender, trees and shrubs. Free handouts.

Best Plants for NW Landscape
This is a hands-on class & tour of designer Evonne Peryea's 1 acre display garden. You will learn about hardy, easy care and unusual plant material. Trees, shrubs, perennials and groundcover will be discussed. The garden contains 16 specialty gardens including a bond, butterfly, shade and moon garden. Free garden guides.

Creative Container Workshop
Learn how to plant fun, colorful containers in this one hour workshop.  Workshop will cover the advantages and disadvantages of different types and styles of containers; why texture can be more important than flowers; why containers need thrillers, fillers, and spillers; and how to successfully plant a container.  Containers will be planted during class and numerous handouts will be provided.
