Intermittent Phone Service

Some incoming calls to Tumwater City Hall and other City facilities are impacted by a disruption in phone service. Our phone provider is working to identify the problem, and repair the issue. This does not impact emergency calls to 911.

If you have attempted to call us and have been unsuccessful, please be assured that we are still on the job and here to serve you!

As an alternative, look for information about City services in the “I Want To..” section of the website, or use the Staff Directory to send an email with your inquiry.

We do not have an estimated time for repair. Thank you for your patience.

Operations and Maintenance Division 

The Operations and Maintenance Division is an integral part of the City of Tumwater’s Public Works Department.  Under the Operations and Maintenance Division, all City streets, utilities and public right-of-ways receive upkeep to ensure that everything is in working order and looking their best.  It is our aim to keep improving the daily lives of our citizens by establishing a working relationship through quality customer service.  As the City grows and expands, we remain dedicated to putting our citizen’s needs first.

If you need to report a problem concerning any of the City of Tumwater’s public facilities or water, sewer, streets and right-of-way maintenance, please contact us by one of the following means:

  • To Report a Public Works problem, call Tumwater Operations & Maintenance at (360) 754-4150, daytime or after-hours, or complete the online form. 

  • After Hours/Emergency phone: (360) 754-4150.

  • Complete a Report a Public Works Problem online - an email message is sent directly to Public Works staff. Be sure to include your phone number or  email if you'd like staff to contact you.
