Building stronger neighborhoods and increasing community involvement; supporting economic development partnerships with public and private entities that enhances Tumwater's quality of life; preserving Tumwater's cultural history and natural features; ensuring safe streets and a more walkable/bikeable community; working with community organizations to protect our most vulnerable citizens.
Nicole has worked in the public and private sector for more than 15 years assisting communities with identifying, prioritizing, and conserving natural areas, parks, trails, forests, and open spaces. She is originally from the Midwest, and has lived in Tumwater since 2009. Nicole earned her BS in Natural Resources and Environmental Management from Ball State University. She completed her graduate work in City and Regional Planning at Clemson University.
