Creating a Beautiful Landscape
Save money by designing your own landscape.  This class will teach homeowners the basic elements of designing a landscape.  Includes: how to select garden style, needs assessment, site analysis, how to form a base plan and final plan, and sound guiding principles to landscaping yards.  Handouts included.

Landscape Pruning

Creative Container Workshop
Learn how to plant fun, colorful containers in this one hour workshop. Workshop will cover the advantages and disadvantages of different types and styles of containers, why texture can be more important than flowers, why containers need thrillers, fillers, and spillers, and how to successfully plant a container. Containers will be planted during class and numerous handouts will be provided.

Best Plants for NW Landscapes
This is a hands-on class & tour of designer Evonne Peryea's 1-acre display garden. Participants will learn about hardy, easy care, and unusual plant material. Trees, shrubs, perennials, and groundcover will be discussed. The garden contains 16 specialty gardens including a pond, butterfly, shade, and moon garden. Free garden guides.

Herb Gardening
This is a hands-on experience. Learn how herbs can be used throughout your landscape. Medicinal purposes and uses in cooking will also be discussed. Herbs are versatile; many will take shade, full sun, and wet and dry areas in the garden. Many types of herb plants will be covered in this class – the uses in your landscape are endless!
