Lodging Tax Advisory Committee

The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee is a five-member committee composed of two representatives from the Hotel/Motel industry, two from the Lodging Tax Fund users group and one city representative. The committee is advisory and annually will meet once or twice to develop and recommend to the City Council the eligible use of those monies within prescribed bounds of state law of the tax receipts of the additional 2%.
