The Finance Department is committed to excellence in the provision of financial, administrative, judicial services. We work as a team to provide services and information to the public, the City Council, and our fellow employees that are timely, impartial, supportive, and consistent with professional standards, legal requirements and Council Policies. The department coordinates the preparation of the City's Budget and provides financial planning and analysis support to other City departments, the City Administrator and the City Council.
The Financial Services Division manages the activities of the Treasurer's office as prescribed by state law, oversees all debt administration, banking services, and invests city money. This division is also responsible for the city's cash receipts, accounts receivable, and the billing and collection functions associated with the water, sewer and stormwater utility, business licensing, and taxes.
