CITY OF TUMWATER
CABLE FRANCHISE

The City signed a new cable franchise agreement with Comcast in early 2009. The franchise agreement is for a term of up to ten years.  For use of the City's right of way to distriibute cable televsion in Tumwater, Comcast pays a fee to the City based on its monthly revenue.  In addition, Comcast provides support for local access television channels operated by Thurston Community Television (TCTV) including Tumwater TV which features a community readerboard and Tumwater City Council meetings.
